Galvano Activator - Stainless Steel and Nickel Activator from Betzmann Galvanik

 

The GALVANO ACTIVATOR from Betzmann Galvanik removes oxide layers on base metals to enable electroplating or electroless plating. The Galvano Activator is needed, for example, to be able to nickel plate aluminum electrolessly or to activate stainless steel, nickel, brass and chrome for electroplating.

 

Field of application:

Pretreatment and cleaning General application

The object is either dipped into the activator for 30 to 60 seconds and then briefly rinsed with clear water or coated with the pad from 2.7 volts.

 

The acid in the activator removes thin layers of oxide invisible to the naked eye. Carry out further coating quickly after the activator bath, as these layers are quickly re-formed with atmospheric oxygen (period: max. 10 30 minutes). 

 

Recommended electrode: stainless steel electrode or graphite electrode!  

Recommended voltage: from 2.7 Volt
